Last night I woke up at 2 a.m. with the vision of this candy cane in my head. Then I couldn't get back to sleep, so I whipped it up. It'll be a cute decorative stocking stuffer.
I really am thinking of making some of these to put in some stockings I am making. How are the red stripes attatched? I considered piecing them but I like the way yours looks & I bet it is less time consuming too...
The red stripes are made of rick rack that I wrapped around the stuffed cane shape. I used small stitches to attach it. I found that I had to make more stitches than I expected and it did take some time.
