I was
immediately drawn to this pretty little box. Then I opened it to find blocks with these beautiful fairy tale images.

I have it in my living room and occasionally I'll rearrange the blocks to make a new picture. It's a really calming way to spend a couple of minutes.

We had something like this when I was little. I should dig it out and take a photo. I love the pictures on yours.
I had a puzzle like this too, although instead of fairy tales, it features various pictures of girls and their pets. I think mine was german and purchased in the virgin islands during the mid-'70s. my mama still has it!
The blocks were made by Your blocks were made by Hermann Eichhorn Spielwarenfabrik in Germany. I have the same set. Sadly the way the blocks are made the princess faces are cut into. It seems you have picture sheets with yours, which I do not. Could you post scans of the 6 illustrations? That would be so great as I have been trying to find them online.
Wow thank you for the interest and information. I will scan the images so that you can see them. I probably won't be able to do it until Monday though. Thanks again!
Where can I buy the puzzle you have displayed? I love it and have been looking for one just like it.
Where can I buy a block puzzle like the one you have. I love it!
We had this very same puzzle when I was a girl and it's pictures are so nostalgic for me. It was perhaps my favorite toy. My favorite picture is Sleeping Beauty. I am still in love with those pink roses!
